| President Calvin Coolidge Homestead |
| Vice was visiting his boyhood home in August 1923 when he received the urgent news of President Warren Harding's death. Coolidge was immediately sworn in as the 30th U.S. President by his father, a notary public. The following year, Calvin Coolidge returned to Plymouth Notch and established his Summer White House office in the dance hall over the local general store. |
