Last week-end (Labor Day), we had some friends visiting from New Jersey and we were looking to have some fun, so we drove down to the Bennington Garlic Festival. Yes, you read it right…..A garlic festival in Vermont! One MORE thing that proves Vermont has something for everyone.
It was a beautiful day, lots and lots of things to eat….from Garlic ice cream, salsas, baked goods (Our friend Larry, was brave enough to try a Garlic Chocolate Cupcake!), to old fashioned snow cones…Which Bob had….sans, Garlic! They had bands that played great music. Plenty of shopping too! An all around fun day. Here’s a little sampling of our day.
