Interplay Jazz Workshop

This June Woodstock will once again host the Inteplay Jazz workshop.
This 8 day event "provides a unique holistic approach to learning how to improvise. With typically one mentor/master teacher for every three or four students, and teachers providing instruction on a wide variety of instruments (piano, bass, drums, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, strings, voice), students receive personalized attention and guidance. Each student has many opportunities throughout the week to play with other students and mentors in rehearsal, jam sessions and public performances. Daily yoga and meditation classes are fully integrated with jazz improvisation and theory, ear training, repertoire, jazz history, master classes on your instrument and much more. Delicious foods provide the necessary fuel for feeding creativity.has grown inis here and again it is time for the Interplay Jazz Workshops"

Held here every year in June, this years event will begin June 26th and end July 2. In 2008 Interplay moved to Woodstock, Vermont. Woodstock is a quaint, historic village in the middle of scenic Vermont. It has been called “the prettiest small town in America” and the “quintessential New England village.”

So now, in June, Woodstock opens its doors (and its ears) to Interplay Jazz.
